Have given over two hundred educational lectures over the past thirty years to undergraduates, medical students, residents, and colleagues. Received the award for best outside lecture of the year from Cal State Northridge.
Became a Fellow of the APA in 2003. Life fellow of the APA as of 2013. President of the Southern California Psychiatric Society 2013-2014. Past President of Phi Delta Epsilon International Medical Fraternity and still serve on the Board.
This physician holds an AMA Physician's Recognition Award certificate (AMAPRA), valid through 11/01/2013. The AMA PRA certificate recognizes physicians who complete at least fifty hours of continuing medical education annually.
