For my practice, the ideal client is someone with major depression (or OCD, or PTSD) who has already tried conventional treatments such as medications and psychotherapy, and needs to try something different. I provide TMS, esketamine, and Prism neurofeedback. I do not see patients for conventional medication management.
At Radial St Louis, we're different than most psychiatry practices. We specialize in treating patients who don't get much benefit from medicines and therapy. We conduct our own evaluation, and if appropriate we can offer TMS, esketamine, and other options. You stay with your current providers, and we offer add-on services.
Often my patients already have tried medicines and already have a great therapist - but they're feeling lousy anyway. Different people need different things, and TMS or one of the other treatments we offer is can be effective when the other treatments are not.
