For the past several years, I have focused exclusively on psychiatric and mental health care. My approach is collaborative, respectful, and centered on helping each person improve their mental health and overall quality of life. While medications do not “fix” everything, they can be very helpful in reducing symptoms and improving tolerance for what a person is currently experiencing, allowing space to address the underlying causes of distress.
I am a Family and Psych NP and recognize the importance of treating the whole patient both physically and mentally. When appropriate, I also incorporate evidence-informed nutraceutical supplements to support treatment. Wellness is achieved by healing the entire body which can be done through medication based treatment and added therapies when appropriate.
I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel understood and valued. Having experienced my own challenges with depression, anxiety, and trauma, I understand how profoundly mental health affects every aspect of life. Those experiences have deepened my appreciation for how effective, compassionate care can truly change lives.
