Stephanie Smith was born and raised in San Diego, CA and completed nursing school there in 2012 (ADN). She has been in Texas since 2014. She is transitioning from a Registered Nurse role where she works with families welcoming little ones into the world in postpartum/couplet care and also in critical care in the NICU. In 2017 she became an Assistance Director of Nursing for an inpatient psychiatric facility and was promoted to DON in less than a year.
She moved to the Brazos Valley to help the inpatient psychiatric facility, but the company closed the hospital. Stephanie earned her MSN from Western Governors and decided to pursue mental health from West Texas A&M University where she received a post masters certificate (PMHNP).
She enjoys nutrition and fitness, books on audible, things that make her laugh and spending time with her family outdoors.
