Hi! I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. I was certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in 2023. I earned both my Doctor of Nursing Practice and Master of Science in Nursing degrees at the University of South Alabama, Mobile-Alabama in the psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner track (PMHNP). I have been providing care to individuals suffering from mental health problems for more than 16 years as a psychiatric nurse in an inpatient mental health facility. I provide mental health care services to diverse populations and strives to promote stability in the life of my patients.
My specialty areas include Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Attention-Deficit /Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and Anger management. I implement evidence-based interventions in my clinical practice and my treatment approach is client specific for each patient's optimum health outcome.
I am empathetic and non judgmental in caring for my patients and I strive to meet each patient where they are for optimum results. I provide medication management and supportive therapy sessions, and provide care across the lifespan.
