I am a Board Certified Family Mental Health Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Nurse Specialist in Adult Health. I work with people across the continuum I have successfully treated people who have depression, anxiety, trouble sleeping, attention deficit disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and bipolar disorder. I also work with people who are suffering from chronic illnesses. Inherited genetic variants also affect the way medications are metabolized. Therefore, I integrate Pharmacogenetic Testing which gives us another tool and more information about your unique genetic and medical make-up that will help inform medication selections and dosages.
My focus is to create a collaborative environment and provide holistic, patient-centered care to ensure that individual preferences and needs guide treatment. I provide supportive psychotherapy and/or medication management.
