I'm a Vanderbilt and University of Chicago trained, board certified psychiatrist and offer telepsychiatry appointments generally using Google Meet. I offer psychopharmacological treatment (medication management) and appointments often incorporate psychotherapy.

I went to medical school at University of Nebraska College of Medicine and Residency at Creighton University. I have done neuropsychiatric research, and I have been published. I have also done quite a bit of researching medication. I trained to do therapy by national leaders including two psychoanalysts. I have worked in academics, private practice, inpatient, outpatient, as staff physician, as Medical Director, and even with the prisons in Georgia. My varied background enables me to be a Psychiatrist who provides premier medication management as well as excellent psychotherapy.

I have been in mental health for over 20 years I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient facilities. I have gained a multitude of knowledge from my clients and their families. I have witnessed many of them suffer in silence making mental health a convenience instead of a necessity. When the medical community understand the mental well being is just as important as physical well being the healing can begin.
