As a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, I believe in working together with patients and families to address psychiatric needs. Seeking out care can be difficult and addressing the various components of treatment (medication management, therapy, school/work resources, family issues, etc) can be overwhelming. My clinical approach with children and teens is treating them with respect and not talking down, but getting to know them and how I can help. My goal is to help navigate the uncertainty around diagnosis and medication so that the other pieces of treating mental health work most effectively.
I am a Board Certified Adult and Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist. I received my Medical Doctorate from University of Michigan. I completed Psychiatric training at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago and my Child/Adolescent Fellowship at University of Michigan. At this time, I am only taking new Child and Adolescent patients.
Services: diagnosis, medication management, and psychotherapy. Clinical issues - anxiety, ADHD, depression, bipolar, mood disorders, ASD, OCD, psychosis, PTSD, personality disorders, adjustment disorders. Clinical Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday please call for hours. I accept self pay clients and Premera/Regence. I do not accept Medicare or Medicaid.
