In-person appointment times are available on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12pm to 8pm. Our Seattle office is located on the waterfront overlooking Elliott Bay at 101 Elliott Avenue West. I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My practice consists of medication management and psychotherapy. I provide integrative mental health and psychiatric care by utilizing a collaborative and holistic approach. In my practice I incorporate natural remedies (nutrition, supplements, etc.) to compliment traditional treatments. I have great respect for the individual’s innate healing power through mind and body connections. I work in a scientific and holistic way to alleviate the intertwined connection between mind and body like chronic fatigue, pain or other mystery illness affecting one’s mental health.

With a background a Nurse Midwife, I have special interest in serving clients who are pregnant, postpartum, experiencing perinatal loss or fertility challenges, or affected by hormonal changes. I bring a comprehensive understanding of reproductive and physical health to assist clients in weighing options for care and building a treatment plan that is consistent with their goals and values.

I had the honor of being trained by Francine Shapiro, originator of EMDR Psychotherapy. I work with individuals across the life span with a multitude of mental health challenges such as Trauma, Depression, Anxiety, Mood disorders, Bereavement and mourning, Chronic Pain, ADHD, Divorce etc.

My ideal patient is someone who is willing to collaborate with me to create the best treatment plan possible for their unique needs. I enjoy answering questions so each patient understands the process. I also aspire to be a supportive ally for patients who are LGBTQIA+ or from any other minority community.

I am a board-certified psychiatrist currently accepting new patients. My practice is strictly through the use of telepsychiatry which means that all appointments will be held via HIPAA compliant video conferencing software. Many patients prefer this means of treatment as appointments can be done from the comfort of your home or office without the need for lengthy commutes or waiting rooms and it provides access to mental health treatment to patients located in more remote locations. I treat adult (18+) patients located in Colorado, Texas and Washington State though controlled substance prescribing may only be done in Colorado.

About the Provider: I am a Board Certified, Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, (PMHNP-BC). I obtained my prfessional degree from Walden University. Over the years, I had professional affiliations with reputable mental health facilities including Bakersfield behavior, John George psych and more. I treat children and adults affected by various mental illness with care and compassion. I utilize Evidence Based Practice model to make treatment choices. I am specialized in treating ADHD, depression, anxiety and mood instability. Stimulant and non stimulant treatment are available. I do conduct ADHD screening and testing before treatment.

I take a collaborative approach with my patients. I like to know what my patients’ goals are so I can tailor the treatment to help them achieve their goals as much as possible. Knowing what’s important to my patients helps me know what treatments to recommend or when to suggest a change to the treatment. I find that patients experience the most success if they are open to talking about their treatment options.

I have over a decade of experience in healthcare including nursing experience in the emergency department, as a sexual assault nurse examiner, and in substance use and inpatient eating disorder treatment. I have a trauma-informed approach and treat people of every educational, socioeconomic, and ethnic background, as well as every sexual orientation. I'm passionate about the importance of people having easy access to mental healthcare. Before joining the healthcare field, I taught in low-income and underserved communities. Seeing the impact that a lack of mental healthcare had in these areas drove me to return to school and begin a career focused on providing that much-needed care.
