Hello, my name is David Taylor MD, and I am a board certified psychiatrist and assistant clinical professor at UCLA. As a physician, I am able to offer both therapy and medications to my patients. Although some people choose to have a separate therapist and psychiatrist, I believe that symptom improvement is enhanced when both treatments are provided by one professional.
After graduating from Stanford University, I attended medical school at the George Washington University. I completed a psychiatry residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where I was chief resident, and a forensic psychiatry fellowship at New York University. In addition to my private practice, I am also on staff at UCLA.
