As a licensed child and adolescent/general psychiatrist trained at University of Maryland in Baltimore, I take a collaborative team approach that actively engages the patient, family members, teachers and other providers in the treatment that holistically addresses the patient’s unique needs. I see patients from 5 to 60 years old and often incorporate discussion of nutrition, exercise, sleep hygiene and social connectivity as part of the treatment. I offer in person (always in first visit) and virtual sessions, and although I do not take insurance, most PPO and POS plans will reimburse a portion of fees with documentation offered.

I offer psychiatric evaluations and medication management services, and although I leave the therapy to the psychotherapists, I often use cognitive behavioral techniques during the sessions.
