As a psychiatrist and neuroscientist, I believe in treating both the brain and the mind.
I am a graduate of the psychiatry residency program at Columbia University, where I am currently an Assistant Professor in Clinical Psychiatry. In addition to seeing patients, I conducted research in ADHD, pathological gambling, mood disorders and brain imaging. I have expertise in psychopharmacology and in Transference Focused Psychotherapy.
I was educated in several different cultures and am able to conduct psychotherapy in English, Italian and Spanish. I am affiliated with the New York Presbyterian Hospital and Silver Hill Hospital, CT, a state of the art facility for the treatment of alcohol and drug abuse.
