Welcome to my practice. I am a board-certified psychiatrist in Chicago. I treat a wide range of concerns including depression & anxiety, personality disorders, eating disorders, substance abuse, trauma, relationship and career problems, and low self-esteem. I work with patients seeking help during crises, support during life transitions, or looking to develop a better understanding of themselves. Starting with a thoughtful evaluation, we will decide together how I can be helpful to you. I take a holistic, integrative approach, and see most of my patients for psychodynamic therapy, although treatment may include medications.
I studied Product Design at Stanford University and spent several years working at a tech startup in Silicon Valley prior to medical training. I received my MD from the University of Washington and completed psychiatric residency at Northwestern University. I have completed psychotherapy training at the Chicago Psychoanalytic Institute.
I have always had a strong interest in understanding the way people think, feel, and behave, and this has been a strong undercurrent in my design background and transition to psychiatry. I look forward to connecting with and getting to know you.
