I am Sheila, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with experience treating a wide range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, PTSD, insomnia, schizoaffective disorders, OCD, and dementia. I am passionate about providing quality medication management while incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy, offering education, and advocating for overall mental wellness.
I earned my Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree from Walden University and bring a strong background in behavioral health, with 7 years of nursing experience and additional practice as a PMHNP. Building a strong rapport with my patients is important to me, as is incorporating evidence-based practices in both medication management and therapy.
