I have experience treating patients throughout the lifespan. I developed a passion for psychiatry after being in the nursing field for about 20 years. I have worked with different patient population providing various treatments in psychiatry including providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, addictions and medical detoxification.
I have dual certification as Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Adult Health Nurse Practitioner. I am board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as well as the American Nurses Credentialing Center (PMHNP). I obtained my masters degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
