Providing holistic and patient-centered care is at the heart of what I do. My approach is warm, empathetic, trauma-informed, and evidenced based. I have been a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) since 2017, having worked in a variety of psychiatric settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and residential programs. Before becoming a nurse practitioner I worked many years in intensive care and emergency departments developing a deep appreciation and respect for front line work.
My goal is to provide a safe space to build trust and develop a collaborative relationship. Through this we can identify goals of treatment and formulate a plan to improve quality of life, functioning, and overall well-being often including a combination of psychotherapy and medication.
