Do you often feel that “you just can’t win?” Come talk to me. I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. I received a master’s degree from Walden University and have been practicing over the past two years with a specialization in mood & thought disorders such as major depression, anxiety, dysthymic disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, and personality disorders. I am also a certified Reiki Master. My first approach is building a rapport with clients. The key component of the therapeutic alliance is trust.
I use my intuition to determine which interventions will work best. Thus, treatment is individualized. Cognitive Behavior Therapy is one of my favorite interventions as it works well for most people. The goal is to help others gain control of their thoughts. My personality greatly influences my approach to therapy as I am a very intuitive person.
We must take care of ourselves from the inside out. My life philosophy and treatment philosophies are one and the same which is to “live on purpose. As a therapist and a practitioner, I encourage clients to do the same through recognition of who they are as an individual.
