I work with individuals, couples and in groups to help you move in new directions and explore new ways of interacting with others. Being in therapy is sometimes challenging. I will strive to help you verbalize your thoughts and feelings about what happens in your life, as well as what happens between you and me in our evolving relationship. The challenge will be to learn from whatever happens in this experience and to move toward the goals we have worked together to define for you. We will work in partnership to design the plan that will achieve your best results.

Areas of interest: Young adults in high school - college transition years, Parents struggling with roles and relationships, Older first-time moms, Couples experiencing communication and/or sexual difficulties, Individuals and families dealing with severe, chronic and life threatening illnesses, Survivors of trauma, Individuals experiencing difficulty dealing with the loss of a loved one

I've maintained a private practice for thirty-five years while also teaching as a clinical instructor, workshop facilitator and consultant. Intergenerational Women's Psychotherapy Group

a psychotherapy group for adult women aged 25 to 80. It is for women who are open to the challenge of personal growth and wish to explore how their current relationships are influenced by their histories - and who want to engage in life more fully. Some group members will pursue "untested possibilities" that they see in themselves. Some will work to resolve "old business" which they have with significant others. All will benefit from being with women of varied ages and backgrounds. Group members welcome self-exploration and interaction with others as a way to enhance the quality of their lives.
