I am the owner of Acadia Psychiatry PLLC, a small, locally and privately owned practice based in Bar Harbor, Maine, serving individuals throughout Maine and New Hampshire through telehealth. I have practiced as a CRNA since 2011 and became a PMHNP in 2022. In 2023, I founded Acadia Psychiatry with the goal of creating a practice where patients feel heard, respected, and genuinely cared for. I value building meaningful relationships with my patients and providing thoughtful, personalized mental health care in a supportive and welcoming environment.

I enjoy working with a variety of clients ages 6 yrs and older through adulthood. I value our community and our overall mental health. Common conditions treated: ADHD, Anxiety, OCD, Eating Disorders, Trauma, PTSD, Depression, Mood Disorders, Personality Disorders, Bipolar Type I & II, Peri-partum Mental Health- PPD, PPA, Postpartum Psychosis.

My personal philosophy as a provider is that you and I are a team working together. My job is to listen to your concerns, diagnose, and prescribe/manage medications to optimize your mental health. Our focus as practicing PMHNP's is to diagnose based on the DSM-V, prescribe and manage medications appropriate for your diagnoses. Add-on psychotherapy is performed and billed for at each session, however we do not offer "stand-alone" therapy and we recommend you obtain an outside dedicated therapist.
