Hello, I'm Shannon Moore-Langston, MD, a board-certified general adult psychiatrist. I welcome patients 18 and over from all backgrounds into my practice and have experience with a range of concerns, including problems related to mood, trauma, substance use, anxiety, and psychosis. I use a combination of medication management, supportive and psychodynamic approaches, somatic tools, and cognitive behavioral interventions to help people understand and work through difficult feelings, thoughts, and situations.
I am honored to be a resource for all of my patients, including those dealing with the emotional and psychological effects of marginalization based on race or ethnicity, national origin, gender, or sexual orientation. Deep listening and respect for the whole person are core values in my practice.
