As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner I have the pleasure of helping my patients overcome issues that are interfering with work, school, relationships, and overall well being. I can offer new appointments fwithin a week, and schedule unhurried appointments so I can best understand your problems and offer a personalized treatment plan including medications when needed as well as thearpy. I believe in the power of a positive therapeutic relationship as a healing tool in itself as we work on reducing depression, anxiety, or other problems.
I believe medication is at times appropriate, but I also believe in non-medication therapy and other healthy modalities to give patients best chance at successful treatment. I offer a welcoming, supportive and calming manner, with a good sense of humor. I am happy to offer Accelerated Resolution Therapy, a quicker option to treating trauma.
I appreciate the courage asking for help and understand the frustration of accessing care when you are not at your best. I sincerely hope I can be an easily accessible treatment source for your psych needs. I keep a low volume caseload so I can offer appointments to new patients within 2 weeks or less, and book appointments so appointments are not rushed.
