I've earned bachelor’s degrees in both psychology and nursing from Morgan State University in Baltimore. I received a master’s degree in nursing from Eastern Kentucky University. My nursing career includes time at Sinai Hospital as a neuroscience nurse as well as at University of Maryland as a nurse in the geriatric psychiatry department.
I am skilled in crisis intervention and de-escalation. I've garnered many unique and transferable skills from my time working in various drug treatment centers.
