I work with clients who have mood and anxiety disorders and are interested in comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis and ensuing treatment. Perhaps you have not been feeling well for some time, not sure why and interested in working with someone in order to feel better. I am skillful at prescribing medications while also have an understanding of what medications cannot do. I am conservative with controlled substances. If you have any questions regarding your diagnosis, medications, how to take them etc, I am here to provide answers. I will make sure that all of your questions are answered at each appointment.
I am able to work with people experiencing anxiety disorders, mood disorders (including perinatal mood disorders), trauma related disorders. I am able to prescribe medication and do some psychotherapy including EMDR. I am comfortable working with first responders, medical personnel and survivors of abuse. I am comfortable working with grief and loss.
