I practice patient and family centered psychiatry for individuals and families with a goal of helping people create a life that has dignity, meaning and joy. I specialize in trauma, complex behavioral issues, mood disorders, anxiety, and major mental illness throughout the life span. New appointments are at 11 am, with priority given to children and young adults. Please note, copies of records for personal use are charged at $1 per page.

While I am comfortable prescribing medication to support people in their quest for wellness, I have a lifelong interest in alternative and complementary modalities including herbs, supplements, wellness and spiritual approaches. In all cases, my approach is comprehensive with a review of your life circumstances, personal, medical and family history.

If possible, please reply by phone with a brief statement about your primacy concern, insurance, age and the urgency of your situation. I cannot reply to all inquiries due to time constraints, but will call when I have openings. I am not able to provide treatment for people who are more than an hour from Middlebury.
