I currently accept new adult patients for medication management. My services include, but are not limited to psychiatric assessment, medication management and supportive therapy. My therapeutic style is casual, interactive and professional. I recognize mental health is uniquely personal, so I tailor evaluations and treatments to your needs. My experience being a Registered Nurse in a busy community emergency department has helped me view each patient individually. I hope to combat the stigma of mental health, bring awareness to the field, and be a good model for the community. I strive to make patients feel heard and taken care of.

Dr. Mark Chofla is a board-certified psychiatrist and physician who completed his specialty residency training at the Los Angeles County + University of Southern California Medical Center. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from the University of California at Davis, Dr. Chofla earned his medical degree from Midwestern University: Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine.

I take a collaborative approach toward helping patients achieve their goals, which begins with a full evaluation process that can last from one to a few sessions, until we have reached an understanding of what the difficulties are and we can discuss treatment recommendations. I believe strongly in both understanding and treating symptoms and difficulties in living in the context of a whole person. I have had training in multiple approaches to psychotherapy and work with patients to broaden their emotional and cognitive experience, gain insight into their psychological functioning, and make improvements in their qualities of life.
