Greetings! I’m Sarah Mota, PHMNP (Nurse Practitioner). I began my career earning a Bachelors of Art in Education from ASU and worked as a public-school teacher in Tucson for 10 years. I decided on a shift in my career path and began my medical training, earning a Master’s degree in nursing practice at the University of Arizona. After my clinical rotation in psychiatry, I knew I found my calling. I spent the first part of my nursing career working as an RN on the pediatrics unit at a level one psychiatric hospital and recently I completed my Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in Psychiatric Mental Health.
Sometimes therapy and lifestyle changes are not enough. I believe medication can play a supportive role in achieving your personal, interpersonal, and professional goals. I will meet you where you are, create a collaborative treatment plan with your goals in mind, and provide ongoing support through your process!
