About
Dr. Sarah McNair is board certified in adult psychiatry and has been practicing for three years. Dr. McNair focuses on combining medication management with psychotherapy interventions to provide holistic care. She takes an integrative approach to understanding each patient's unique story and tailoring a treatment plan to their specific goals, wishes and needs. Dr. McNair received her undergraduate degree from West Point and served for five years in the Army as an Aviation officer before completing her medical degree at Harvard Medical School.
She completed her residency training at the National Capital Consortium/Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Following residency, she worked as the medical director of a residential substance abuse treatment program and as an outpatient psychiatrist at Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Augusta, GA.
Dr. McNair enjoys treating a range of conditions but has particular interest in mood disorders and trauma. She's certified by The Institute for Functional Medicine and believes that deeply connecting with a patient and their story is essential to healing. She supports patients in lifestyle modification and stress management to support sustained wellness.
