I have twenty years’ experience providing healthcare services to a wide range of populations and within a variety of specialties. In the last decade, I have provided psychiatric care as a registered nurse in inpatient psychiatric units. This experience has given me an understanding of individuals with severe mental illnesses, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, and psychosis.
My experience is not limited to these diagnostic terms but does give a good umbrella description where one is needed. Each individual is different in presentation and treatment goals; I am passionate about providing care that focuses on honoring the individual’s lived experience. Your goals for treatment will guide our plan from start to finish.
