I am a board-certified Psychiatrist and am currently accepting new patients. I offer in person and virtual visits. In providing medication management and/or therapy, I treat patients who struggle with anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma related disorders, OCD, personality disorders, and eating disorders. In addition, I also assist patients in navigating sudden life changes including grief, relationship difficulties, and difficult life transitions. My focus is on your goal as an individual. It is a great privilege to get to know who my patients are and to create a safe environment for psychological exploration.
The treatments I offer are multifaceted and individualized. I provide therapy and/or medication management for mental health struggles. Therapies that are provided including the following, but not limited to: cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, trauma based therapies (i.e. CPT), psychodynamic therapy, exposure and response prevention therapy.
To quote a therapist that I admire, Irving Yalom said, "It is the relationship that heals." As a medical doctor I consider medication options, if applicable and desired, but I also focus on the patient-physician relationship because with safety, unconditional positive regard, trust, and empathy comes growth, resilience, and strength for the patient.
