I provide talk therapy and medication management, as needed. Together, we can learn about how your mind works and put words to feelings that you have. We can also work to identify patterns which may be holding you back and potential shifts which may improve your feelings of efficacy. As you increase your self-understanding, you can find a deeper sense of purpose in your life and more meaningful connections in social and professional relationships. I also provide a sliding scale fee for an intensive talk therapy.
Most people I prescribe medication for, also see me for weekly talk therapy. For depression and anxiety, research supports both talk therapy and medication for optimal treatment. For those patients who already have a psychotherapist with whom I work, I do provide medication management.
I most often see adults who are anxious, depressed and wanting to learn how their mind works. Many people seek my help during a time of transition in their lives and are seeking support. I have extensive experience working with undergraduate, graduate students and women who have had breast cancer.
