I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner serving the entire state of NC. My previous experience as a bedside nurse was in Radiology and Neuro ICU. Through the years, I became acutely aware that mental health is often not prioritized to the same degree as physical health. My goal as a PMHNP is to help reduce mental health disparities and improve access to compassionate, evidence-based care. My passion for mental health comes from a deep commitment to supporting individuals who are hurting as well as those who may fear stigma. I strive to help clients break down these barriers and feel empowered in their healing process.
I provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for several mental health conditions, include mood disorders,anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, sleep disorders,substance use disorders, personality disorders, ADHD, eating disorders, and autism. In addition, I make referrals for psychotherapy and comprehensive psychological testing for autism.
Mental health is not a gray area—it is just as vital as physical health. The brain and its neurochemistry influences every aspect of our wellbeing, making mental health care essential to a happy and healthy future.
