Pursuing psychiatric care can be a difficult challenge for many due to various obstacles. I believe in learning about my patients individually through time and compassion while being sensitive to their cultural needs. I am also committed to improving the access to care by utilizing telemedicine while delivering quality individualized treatment.
Saoda Shuara, M.D. is an adult and child-adolescent psychiatrist. Dr. Shuara attended the Medical University of the Americas for her Medical Degree and went on to complete her psychiatry residency training at Griffin Memorial Hospital. Dr. Shuara pursued a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
Dr. Shuara has acquired broad experience in the treatment of general psychiatric conditions and takes a particular interest in Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, ADHD, genetic testing, and lifelong impacts of trauma.
