I am Motokwa Ntsang, Psychiatric-mental health Nurse Practitioner Sandrine, and I hold a board certification. I received my MSN in Psychiatric-Mental Health NP from Walden University in January 2023. I worked as an intensive care unit nurse for three years before obtaining her master's degree. I obtained my BSN in nursing in 2010 in Varese, Italy, and worked as a nurse in many specialties, including neurosurgery, psychiatry, geriatric, home health, and wound care. I was born and raised in Cameroon. I emigrated to Italy in 2007; after studying, I moved to the US in 2013.
I usually do pharmacology and non-pharmacology treatment approaches on my patient, I occasionally use complementary methods and community therapy. I usually work with patients from ages 5 to 99 struggling with conditions such as ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, substance abuse, and personality disorder.
I use motivational interviews, recovery models, and therapeutic communication. I use the recovery model. I listen to the patient's concerns and we decide on the adequate treatment based on her priority needs.
