My name is Sandra Krotman. I am a Board certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner ( PMHNP-BC) with prescriptive privileges. Every person has concerns they struggle with during their lifetime. Some people struggle on and off, and for others, the path is filled with twists, turns, slippery rocks, and possibly big boulders. Wherever you are on your journey, I can meet you on your route, and help you navigate your mental health needs. We can create a comprehensive treatment plan after an assessment and evaluation, discuss options such as therapy, medication management, or combination of both.
My approach is eclectic, and I incorporate cognitive, behavioral, and complementary therapies in my practice. I also collaborate with your therapist and other providers. I am an experienced clinician, and have worked in outpatient, community health, and school settings in the Maryland and Washington DC area .
I am pleased to serve as a third party resource for Zohar Health. Although face to face sessions with a provider are ideal, Zohar Health offers the convenience and comfort of telepsychiatry. Please note that if you have acute issues which need emergency care, social or legal support, this service will not be sufficient for you.
