Hello, I’m Dr. Sajid Baig, a board-certified psychiatrist dedicated to helping adults navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, trauma-related concerns, and co-occurring substance use issues.
I’ve had the privilege of working in diverse clinical settings—including outpatient psychiatry, inpatient hospital units, correctional mental health, crisis stabilization, and addiction treatment programs. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for how differently psychiatric conditions can present and how important it is to tailor care to each individual’s circumstances.
I completed my psychiatry residency at Howard University Hospital, where I also served as Chief Resident, and earned my medical degree from St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine. My academic background includes research in psychopharmacology, metabolic monitoring for patients on antipsychotic medications, and treatment engagement.
My goal is to create a supportive, respectful, and judgment-free space where you feel comfortable discussing what you’re experiencing.
