I am a board certified Adult and Forensic psychiatrist, trained at University of Connecticut and Yale School of Medicine. My background is in outpatient, correctional, emergency and forensic psychiatry. I am currently working at private practices in Back Bay, Boston (since 2018), and Connecticut (Since 2023).
I believe that the treatment process begins by creating an empathic and trusting relationship between the clinicians and patients/clients. My focus is on biological, psychological, interpersonal, traumatic, and socio-economic processes that shape our lives. I also incorporate psychoanalytical therapeutic approaches in my work.
I am currently providing psychopharmacological treatment along with short-term individual therapy. I recently completed a certificate program in psychedelic assisted therapy and will incorporate it into my practice, once psychedelics are legalized federally.
