I am a dual board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner with a career in nursing since 1999. I am licensed in Tennessee and Kentucky. My practice in Psychiatric care began six years ago as an FNP treating a myriad of psychiatric illnesses. My goal is to collaboratively engage in caring for individuals who will actively participate in their care while seeking personal growth and life improvement. My desire is to successfully increase the aptitude of each individual in progression of living a life where symptoms are not a hinderance physically, mentally, and socially.
My focus is to assess, diagnose, and treat mental health conditions through various modalities of treatment, which includes therapy, behavioral modifications/interventions, and medication while aiming to improve one's mental well-being leading to an increase in coping skills continually evident by feelings of acceptance and positive accomplishment.
