About

Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, anger, or feelings of isolation? Perhaps you’re feeling stuck and yearning for positive change. The past three years have strained the resources of so many people. I am a highly experienced and skilled psychiatrist with a client focused approach, offering both psychotherapy and medication management. If you are considering psychoactive medication I am eager to discuss it and get to know your needs. I am particularly proficient in helping people through mood, anxiety disorders and trauma. I also treat those struggling with focus and attention concerns.
As a lifetime New Yorker with a degree from NYU Medical school, I trained at Montefiore Hospital where I was selected chief resident and followed with a fellowship in Consultation Psychiatry. I have served on the staff of New York Hospital and The Hospital for Special Surgery. To reach out I write articles relevant to clinical psychiatry.
After a thorough initial assessment I offer recommendations based on your treatment goals. I pride myself as a psychiatrist who gives my patients time and care throughout the process. I am happy to do telephone, FaceTime, video, and in-office consultation. I look forward to hearing from you and to assessing your needs.
