I am a board-certified sleep specialist who has been treating patients with insomnia for more than 25 years. I am an expert in Behavioral Sleep Medicine, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), a medication-free and research proven, first line treatment for chronic insomnia. I am the only physician in Arizona who is both Board Certified in Sleep Medicine and Certified in Behavioral Sleep Medicine. I am a Diplomate of the American Board of Sleep Medicine and a Diplomate of the Board of Behavioral Sleep Medicine.
I have been the Medical Director of three Sleep Clinics and was the medical consultant for the creation of a Sleep Center for older adults. Since 2007, I have had a private practice in Scottsdale, Arizona focusing on insomnia and its psychological and behavioral causes.
I am one of only 35 physicians in North America, and the only physician in Arizona, who has additional certification in Behavioral Sleep Medicine.
