I'm Vilma Khounphixay, with my mental health background in corrections law enforcement, I can help areas in depression, anxiety, trauma, or needing a life coach to unveil invisible roadblocks and use coping skills to re-align your life's paths. Together we’ll work in goal-oriented therapy for targeted interventions. The cognitive behavioral therapy model highlights thinking errors, also known as cognitive distortions, which affect our choices and behaviors.
I provide a listening ear to first responders or emergency personnel and their families to work through interpersonal relationships and help families find ways to express themselves in healthy ways. Unfortunately, trauma can be attached to the job, and together we can process your trauma.
Depending on what your needs are, I will assist in identifying and challenging (negative) thoughts related to trauma to understand why you think and feel the way you do.
