I am dually certified as a Family (Primary Care) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I live in Indianola, MS. I work with patients of all ages in the office and via telehealth. I mainly focus on medication management in the areas of mental health, treating all diagnoses, including ADHD, bipolar disorders, Schizophrenia, and eating disorders, and many others. My main focus is to help those whom God has placed in my care to feel better holistically.
My approach to providing mental healthcare is to provide medication at the lowest effective dose in order to provide relief from symptoms, maintain or enhance daily functioning, and improve quality of life. I also recommend or suggest relaxation and/or meditation activities to go along with psychopharmacological therapy.
As a psychiatric mental health practitioner, I focus on helping patients with a wide variety of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, mood disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, insomnia, and schizophrenia. I am comfortable treating many of the common mental health disorders that we typically see from day to day.
