I am a dedicated and caring board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I received my BS and MSN from Columbia University and have extensive experience working with clients in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room settings. I provide comprehensive care using an integrated approach of both brief psychotherapy and judicious use of medication. During sessions, one can expect thorough, empathetic, and patient-centered care.
In my current practice I primarily work with people seeking treatment for depression, anxiety, panic disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, attention deficit/hyper activity disorder, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and sleep disorders among other mental health conditions using evidence based medicine and therapeutic interventions.
I believe in a collaborative approach to treatment. I don't rush. I work carefully and thoughtfully to try to fully understand each individual's specific concerns and needs. Working together, we can decide on a safe and effective treatment plan that makes the most sense and feels most comfortable using evidence based treatment guidelines.
