Born and raised in New York City, I graduated from Loyola Stritch School of Medicine and completed my psychiatric residency at Columbia and Cornell. I later served as a Clinical Professor at NYU and held senior leadership and clinical roles across New York, Virginia, and California. My expertise includes psychotherapy, psychopharmacology, and the integration of medical and behavioral health care. I work with adolescents and adults using a compassionate, holistic approach that incorporates mindfulness, nutrition, exercise, and balanced living. My purpose is helping others through care, learning, and shared wisdom.

With 50 years of clinical experience, I remain committed to lifelong learning and compassionate care. I use an individualized, comprehensive approach that integrates psychotherapy, conservative medication management, and lifestyle factors. My goal is to help each patient achieve meaningful, lasting progress through personalized treatment.

The first visit focuses on getting to know each other. I gather a thorough history while discussing strategies that may help. With careful, compassionate listening, we begin developing treatment goals and guidelines, while building a trusting therapeutic relationship that may take several visits.
