About
Robert is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, serving teens to adults of Southern California. In addition to his experience in the outpatient and private practice setting, he provides homeless mental health care for the Friendship Shelter to the most vulnerable members of our community. Furthermore, he has a strong background in crisis intervention and inpatient mental health through his work at Mission Hospital Laguna Beach. Lastly, he finds great passion in educating & mentoring future healthcare professionals in a teaching role to end the stigma within this ever-changing mental health community.
Robert’s central focus is to provide humanistic, client-centered care by exploring one’s past medical & mental health history, educating various combinations of treatment interventions, and empowering client’s self-determination throughout the duration of their outpatient treatment.
As part of a strong team of clinicians at Laguna Family Health Center, he shares in the integrative approach to health care and is strengthened by the collaborative environment. He hopes to provide this safe & caring environment where clients can feel heard and to assist their journey of reintegrating mental health & wellness back into their daily lifestyle.
