Dr. Bloom graduated from Rush Medical College in 1983, where he went on to do his residency in psychiatry, and he spent his next four years there as Director of Medical Student Education. Dr. Bloom went on to serve in a variety of clinical and academic positions associated with the practice of both psychiatry and sleep medicine. Dr. Bloom is Board Certified in Psychiatry, is a Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
