About
The clients that I treat are looking for help. They are either seeking medication to help with their mental illness or in need of someone to manage them. They are at the point where they need medical help due to a mental illness that impairs them from living a healthy, productive life.
I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, ADHD, schizophrenia, adjustment disorders, and substance use disorders through the prescribing of appropriate medication. I make great efforts to stay up to date on the latest research and treatments for mental illnesses.
I believe in treating the client as a “whole”. Mind, body, and spirit. I listen to the client and treat the appropriate symptoms, rather than just labelling one with a diagnosis. My philosophy is to have the client be an active participant in their treatment to gain a sense of empowerment and independence. I believe in therapy in conjunction with medication.
