I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 5+ years experience working with patients with complex psychiatric conditions including schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, PTSD, ADHD, depression, and co-occurring substance use disorders.
I am able to provide psychotherapy as well as manage medications. I have a firm belief that psychotherapy is just as important as medication management to maximize recovery of mental health disorders, just as therapy is with any other health condition. Psychotherapy is rehab for the brain just as cardiac rehab is rehab for the heart.
I am accepting new clients ages 6+ with a wide range of mental health conditions including (but not limited to) psychotic disorders, depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, and adjustment disorders. Together, my patient's and I will come up with a treatment plan that best meets his/her individual needs and gets him/her back to the life he/she once enjoyed.
