I am a Cornell trained psychiatrist who is Board Certified with over 25 years of experience treating adults. I have an expertise in psychotherapy and psychiatric medication treatment. My emphasis is on establishing a safe, empathetic relationship where you can express your thoughts, feelings and memories in a nonjudgmental environment. My goal is helping you develop a richer emotional life by exploring current relationships as well as past experiences that may prevent you from reaching your full potential.
If there are biological issues disrupting your life (depression, anxiety, mood swings, for example), we will work together to develop an individually tailored regime of medication and psychotherapy to help you meet your goal of an improved quality of life.
I have been in private practice for over 25 years and in the past six years I was a Team Leader on focused units for Division Human Services for the state of New Jersey. I also was a clinical instructor of third year medical students at Rutgers Medical School.
