I am a board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist licensed in New York and California. I enjoy working with people at every life stage, and I believe psychotherapy is an effective tool to help us lead more meaningful and productive lives. As a physician I also prescribe medications when appropriate.
Treatment is unique for every person. I use a strength-based approach in individual and family therapy. If you have a therapist already, I will collaborate with them.
My training with children and adolescents makes me especially attuned to how early life experiences impact our ability to relate in the future. I work with people on relationship issues, addictions, eating disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, OCD, ADHD, and trauma-related disorders.
