About
Dr. Jacob is a board certified psychiatrist and a Dallas native who provides compassionate, individualized and holistic care for her patients. She completed medical school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center – Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth. For her residency, she trained in general psychiatry at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX, where she served as the chief resident in her final year. Dr. Jacob has experience treating patients 13 and up with Major Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, anxiety disorders, substance use and PTSD among other conditions.
Her clinical interests include mood disorders, substance use disorders, the interface between psychiatry & spirituality, as well as adolescent and women’s mental health. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, Texas Society of Psychiatric Physicians, American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association, and Christian Medical Association.
